Unlike cars with an internal combustion engine, Tesla electric cars do not require an oil change, fuel filter change, spark plug change or CO2 emission control. In the case of electric cars, even changing the brake pads is a rather rare phenomenon, since most of the braking energy is regeneratively absorbed by the engine and charges the battery.

Regular technical maintenance is a guarantee of the car’s reliability, whether it is an electric car or a car with an internal combustion engine, and that is why it is advisable to periodically check the condition of one or other parts of a Tesla electric car, just like any other car.

It is recommended to check daily:

• High-voltage battery charge level indicator on the dashboard;
• Works of external lighting devices, horn, direction lights, janitors and washer;
• Works on the brake system, including the parking brake;
• Seat belts;
• The presence of traces of working fluids under the car.
