What to do if an accident happened?

In the event of an accident, take necessary measures to prevent damage and ensure general safety.

Call the Emergency Center 112 if:

  • someone has been injured in the accident. If you know how and if it is possible, give first aid to the victims;
  • people involved in the accident do not agree on the culprit;
  • the owner of the damaged property is unknown, for example you have hit a road sign, a fence or another vehicle in the parking lot;
  • the person causing the damage has left the scene of the accident;
  • the accident occurred when running into or avoiding an animal.

After recording the accident and signing the document, the vehicles can leave the scene.

Before driving, make sure that the vehicle is safe to drive.

What to do in the event of a traffic accident or damage to the helmet?

If an accident happens with your car, we will take care of all the business with the insurance companies. In the event of a traffic accident or other insured event, contact our office to register the claim. Documents required for claims handling
  • vehicle registration certificate
  • a document proving the right to drive of the driver who was behind the wheel at the time of the accident (driver’s license, passport, ID card)
  • power of attorney for vehicle user based on authorization
  • insurance policy or details of the insurance company where a valid policy has been concluded
  • other documents that may be related to the case.
Documents required for handling traffic damage
  • Filled out form: „Notice of traffic accident“.
  • Vehicle registration certificate
  • a document proving the right to drive of the driver who was behind the wheel at the time of the accident (driver’s license, passport, ID card)
  • Authorization if you use the vehicle with authorization
  • Traffic insurance policy
  • other documents that may be related to the case.
The procedure for handling traffic accidents is regulated by Government Regulation No. 68.
