2. What data we process<\/h2>\n

  • Contact details:<\/strong> name, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message.<\/li>\n
  • Vehicle data:<\/strong> registration number, VIN, model, mileage, diagnostic data and alerts, and the work carried out.<\/li>\n
  • Order and billing data:<\/strong> work ordered, parts, invoices and payment information.<\/li>\n
  • Claims handling data:<\/strong> for insurance claims, the accident report, insurance policy details, the driver’s licence details and a power of attorney.<\/li>\n
  • Vehicle sales data:<\/strong> the data needed to purchase, register and lease a vehicle.<\/li>\n
  • Website usage data:<\/strong> IP address, browser and device data, and data collected with cookies according to your cookie preferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • parts suppliers, when vehicle data is needed to order the correct part;<\/li>\n
      • our service providers, such as web hosting, e-mail and accounting providers, who process data on our instructions;<\/li>\n
      • Google and Meta, when we use website analytics, security and marketing tools (see section 6);<\/li>\n
      • public authorities, where we are legally required to do so.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (for example with Google and Meta services), this is based on a European Commission adequacy decision, including the EU\u2013US Data Privacy Framework, or on standard contractual clauses.<\/p>\n

        5. How long we keep data<\/h2>\n

        We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purpose or as required by law. Accounting source documents, such as invoices, are kept for seven years under the Estonian Accounting Act. We keep a vehicle’s service and repair history so that we can serve you better in future and answer questions about work done. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept only as long as needed for the communication. When the retention period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised.<\/p>\n

        6. Cookies and third-party tools<\/h2>\n

        The website uses cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working. We use analytics and marketing cookies only with your consent, which you give or refuse in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n

          • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            To exercise your rights, write to info@servicemode.ee. We reply within one month at the latest. If you believe we are infringing your rights, you can contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn, info@aki.ee, www.aki.ee).<\/p>\n

            8. Data security<\/h2>\n

            We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures against accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure or use. Only employees and partners who need the data for their work have access to it.<\/p>\n
